    Newer lung cancer pill added nearly 6 months of life versus older drugs

    In a 338-person trial, Roche's daily pill divarasib was tested directly against two approved drugs for the same gene change in lung cancer. Half of patients on it lived at least 17.7 months, against 12 months on the older drugs.
